What to Expect

Contractor Responsibilities & Client Expectations

To help ensure a smooth process and a successful end result, here are a few things to expect when working with Remnant Marketing. These guidelines keep things running efficiently and ensure that your project stays on track.

1. What You Can Expect from Me

  • A clean, functional, mobile-friendly WordPress website, built with your goals and audience in mind OR a professionally designed, custom logo tailored to your mission and audience
  • Clear timelines and communication
  • Up to three rounds of revisions to get things just right
  • Hosting and ongoing updates (if included in your package)
  • A training call or video showing you how to make basic updates on your own
  • Friendly, honest advice based on experience working with Catholic organizations, non-profits, and small businesses

2. What I’ll Need From You

  • Content & Materials: This includes your logo, photos, page content (or at least a rough draft), branding colors or preferences, and any important links
  • Timely Responses: Please plan to respond to emails and feedback requests within 2–3 business days so we can stay on schedule
  • Revision Feedback: You’ll receive the first draft of your website for review. I’ll ask that you send clear feedback, and we’ll go through up to 3 rounds of revisions from there
  • Login Access: If I’m redesigning an existing site, I’ll need login credentials for your hosting platform or existing site

3. Timeline Expectations

  • Initial design concepts are delivered within 2 weeks of receiving all necessary content and your deposit
  • Turnaround time on revisions is typically 2–3 business days
  • If content or feedback is delayed for more than 14 days, your project may be rescheduled to the next available window

4. What’s Not Included (Unless Previously Discussed)

To keep your project streamlined, the following are not included unless added as part of a custom scope:

  •  Social media setup or management
  • Copywriting or editing (you provide final page text unless copywriting is added)
  • Complex integrations (advanced form builders, third-party platforms, etc.)
  • Unlimited revisions (up to 3 are included—extra revisions are billed at $50/hour)

5. Professional Standards

  • All work is completed to high design and technical standards
  • Your content and credentials are treated with confidentiality
  • You retain full ownership of your website once the final payment is made
  • I may share your project in my portfolio or social media (unless you request otherwise in writing)
